Kazeya offers three types of private hot spring baths available free of charge, alongside public indoor and outdoor baths. The open-air bath provides scenic mountain views, and full-body massages can be arranged on-site. Guests can unwind in the public hot spring bath or cycle to explore the surrounding nature with complimentary bicycle rentals.

Accommodations

Rooms at Kazeya Hotel feature tatami flooring, a low table with seating cushions, and either Western beds or Japanese futon bedding. All rooms include a private bathroom, flat-screen TV, refrigerator, and safe, with garden and mountain views. The spacious Japanese-style rooms blend traditional architecture with practical amenities.

Dining

Kazeya serves a one-dish dinner with several side dishes; guests can order Hida-beef as the main course at an extra cost. A full Hida-beef course meal is also available for reservation. Breakfast is included, but no lunch is served at the ryokan.

Location and Activities

Kazeya is a 10-minute drive from the Shin-Hodaka Ropeway and a 1-hour drive from Takayama Station. The ryokan is a 2-minute walk from Shin-Hodaka Onsenguchi bus stop, offering access to Kamikochi and Okuhida Bear Park. Guests can borrow complimentary bicycles for bike tours or explore the Hida mountain trails on foot.
